Welcome to Google Voice.
If we have initially set up a New Google Account in your Name and or additionally set up a Google Voice account for you, you should have received an email with your Google Account Log In Credentials including your UserName and Password.

Getting the Google Voice APP
After you have setup your Google Voice Account below remember to visit your cellular App Store to Download the Google Voice App.
Setting up Google Voice
Log Into your Google Account at Voice.Google.com
On the left navigation Click the 3 Dots Icon to expand the Menu
Scroll down and Click “Legacy Google Voice”
In upper Right Corner click the GEAR Icon

In the Dropdown Click SETTINGS

Setting up Ring Schedule

Limits Calls ringing thru to your phone after business hours
Click on Phone TAB

Under Phone 2 (This will be the Phone you are forwarding calls to) Click EDIT

Select Phone Type “Mobile” if you want to receive Text “Transcripts of your Call Messages”

Click Show advanced settings

Select Use Custom schedule / Setup as desired / Click Save

Activate Google voicemail on this phone

Optionally: Replaces cellular Voicemail with Google Voice Voicemail so all message are in 1 place.

It may be best to test how Google Voice works first before activating this

If desired, Click Activate Google voicemail on this phone / Follow Instructions
VOICEMAIL & TEXT – TAB features
Voicemail Greeting
Click Record New Greeting – to create a custom greeting
Set Email as desired for Voicemail Notifications
Voicemail PIN
Enter a 4 Digit Pin and make note of it in a safe place.
Voicemail Transcripts

This will convert voicemails into a text as well as keeping the voicemail version.
Save changes
CALLS – TAB features
During a Google Voice call, you can:
Record a call

Answer a call to your Google Voice number.

To start recording, tap 4. All participants hear an announcement that the recording has begun.

To stop recording, tap 4. All participants hear an announcement that the recording has ended.

Hanging up also ends the recording.

You can find your recordings in the Voicemail tab.
Switch phones during a call

Answer a call to your Google Voice number.

Tap Star (*). The other phones that are set up to take your Google Voice calls will ring.

Pick up the call on the phone you want to use.
Join calls into a conference call
-
Answer a call to your Google Voice number.
-
When your Google Voice number gets a second call, you’ll hear a message asking to start the conference.
